PHP is one kind of Hypertext Preprocessor which is a widely used and general-purpose scripting language that was originally designed for web development. It used to produce dynamic web pages. It also offers excellent connectivity to many databases including MySQL, Informix, Oracle, Sybase, Solid, PostgreSQL, and Generic ODBC and many more..PHP is a server-side scripting language and it runs on Windows NT and many Unix versions, and it can be built as an Apache module and as a binary that can run as a CGI.
